Year 11 English Revision Sessions

GCSE/ GCSE English/English Literature Revision Session – Examiner-Led Support Does your child really know how to revise for their English GCSE exams? I'm running a series of examiner-led revision sessions — one-hour small group sessions (maximum of six students) designed to focus on exactly what your child needs help with. ✅ Are they struggling to start an essay? ✅ Do they know which key quotations to use? ✅ Do they need to understand what the assessment objectives actually mean? ✅ Do they have a question they’ve written that they’d like me to mark? These sessions will provide the focused, tailored support they need to feel confident walking into their exams. 📅 Session Dates: 🗓️ Monday 8th April – 10:00am to 11:00am 🗓️ Saturday 3rd May – 11:30am to 12:30pm 🗓️ Saturday 10th May – 11:30am to 12:30pm 🗓️ Saturday 17th May – 11:30am to 12:30pm 🗓️ Saturday 24th May – 11:30am to 12:30pm ✨ Benefits of Joining: ✔️ Examiner insight – Expert guidance on what examiners are looking for. ✔️ Tailored support – Focus on the areas your child struggles with most. ✔️ Small group setting – Individual attention with only six students per session. ✔️ Practical resources – Model answers and revision tools sent after the session. ✔️ Confidence boost – Help your child walk into the exam feeling prepared and calm. FAQs: Do they need to come on camera? – Students should come on camera at the start of the session and when I’m giving feedback, but they’re welcome to turn it off while working independently. Will you be sending out resources? – Yes! If I identify a need, I’ll send out targeted resources — this might include a model answer at a Grade 5 or a Grade 9. Do they need to prepare anything? – Yes — students should come prepared with a specific question or area they’d like to focus on. How can I be sure my child will get individual support? – With only six students per session, I can provide personalised feedback and targeted guidance. My child is in Year 7 — can they join? – These sessions are just for Year 11 students. My child is doing Edexcel — can you cover that? – Yes! I cover all exam boards. Can we book a one-to-one session instead? – Yes — one-to-one sessions are available at £50 per hour for GCSE. Spaces are limited — book now to secure a spot!
