GCSE/ GCSE English/English Literature Revision Session – Examiner-Led Support Does your child really know how to revise for their English GCSE exams? I'm running a series of examiner-led revision sessions — one-hour small group sessions (maximum of six students) designed to focus on exactly what your child needs help with. ✅ Are they struggling to start an essay? ✅ Do they know which key quotations to use? ✅ Do they need to understand what the assessment objectives actually mean? ✅ Do they have a question they’ve written that they’d like me to mark? Will you be sending out resources? – Yes! If I identify a need, I’ll send out targeted resources — this might include a model answer at a Grade 5 or a Grade 9. Do they need to prepare anything? – Yes — students should come prepared with a specific question or area they’d like to focus on. How can I be sure my child will get individual support? – With only six students per session, I can provide personalised feedback and targeted guidance. My child is in Year 7 — can they join? – These sessions are just for Year 11 students. My child is doing Edexcel — can you cover that? – Yes! I cover all exam boards.
